630 km – HVDC / HVAC, 400kV / 220 kV power line

Mexico

IDOM has developed a feasibility study and the conceptual and basic engineering for a new 630-km, 400-kV power line, HVAC and HVDC solutions for a mineral processing plant of Grupo México.

In this design, in addition to the layout and environmental impact, the compensating and network management elements have been configured for both solutions, and the simulation of the different operating regimes for the expected demand scenarios has been carried out.

In addition to the basic design, the scope of services has included the definition of ROW (Right of Way), the technical specification of the FACTs, as well as the economic estimate of the investment.
