La Rabida Cogeneration based on a 80 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Configuration
SERVICES: Detail Engineering and Site Management during Construction
The Cogeneration II is integrated within the CEPSA-owned refinery complex in La Rábida (Huelva). The project’s main goal is to provide a reliable supply of 43 kg/cm² g superheated steam for the correct operation of the new AROMAX unit’s catalyst, and 19 kg/cm² g saturated steam for ERTISA (a CEPSA-owned company).
The main facilities of the Project are:
A 82.4 MWe (gross output) cogeneration plant , composed by one GE-PG6111FA gas turbine (using natural gas as fuel), a Heat Recovery Steam Generator and a back pressure steam turbine.
