The Nuevo Pemex Cogeneration is integrated within the PEMEX-owned gas process complex in the proximity of Villahermosa, State of Tabasco (Mexico). The project’s main goal was to provide a reliable supply of 500 ton/h high pressure steam to the gas process complex, in particular to provide the feeding of the cryogenic units. This steam flow could be increased to 800 ton/h with the help of the post-combustion included in the HRSG’s.
The main facilities of the Project are: A 300 MWe cogeneration plant, composed by two GE-7FA multishaft gas turbines (using natural gas as fuel), and two Heat Recovery Steam Generator implementing post-combustion manufactured by CERREY.
