    Among the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) thermal power plants carried out by IDOM, noteworthy are those undertaken for Hitachi Zosen Invova (HZI). Between 2014 and 2016, IDOM developed different projects for HZI in several plants in Europe:

    • Dublin, Ireland. Advanced basic and detailed engineering of the seawater cooling system (Capacity: 600,000 t/year. Power: 58 MWe).
    • Poznan, Poland. Advanced basic and detailed engineering of the water/steam cycle installation (Capacity: 216,000 t/year. Power: 18 MWe & 34 MWt).
    • Buckinghamshire, UK. Detailed engineering of the piping for the plant (Capacity: 300,000 t/year. Power: 29.4 MWe & 6.6 MWt).
    • Severnside, UK. Detailed engineering of the electrical installation (Capacity: 350,000 t/year. Power: 37 MWe & 10 MWt).
    • Hartlebury, UK. Advanced basic and detailed engineering of the water/steam cycle installation (Capacity: 200,000 t/year. Power: 20.4 MWe & 3 MWt).
