Correctional security in Mexico is a fundamental pillar for ensuring the protection and well-being of both inmates and staff in social rehabilitation centers. IDOM has led the comprehensive design of communication and security systems for the new Women’s Social Rehabilitation Center in Morelos, Mexico, implementing cutting-edge technologies to guarantee maximum protection. The project also included the development of an innovative operational model tailored to international standards for security and human rights. This modern facility, consisting of 150 buildings and with a capacity for 3,000 inmates and up to 1,500 operations staff, is equipped with intelligent video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and secure communications systems, ensuring efficient and secure management of the institution.
The new Center is composed of 150 buildings and a capacity for 4,500 people, 3,000 inmates and 1,200-1,500 staff for its management and operation.
