Due Diligence Consultancy for Limahub’s air cargo terminal
The Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima has seen an increase in cargo flows in recent years, reaching 300,000 tons per year, representing 8% of the total cargo flow in Latam. For this reason, there is a need to create new space to handle these flows.
In this sense, IDB Invest, the bank for private sector solutions in Latin America and the Caribbean, has sought to evaluate the possibility of financing a new investment for a cargo terminal at this airport.
The objective of the project developed by IDOM is to support IDB Invest in the evaluation of the project for the construction, operation and maintenance of a new air cargo terminal.
The activities carried out were:

- Structure of the developer and knowledge of the sector
- Organizational structure proposed for the project
- Adequacy of the project to the site
- Market analysis
- Adequacy of the operating model
- Economic-financial analysis, including debt impact assessment
- Risk assessment and definition of mitigation measures
