IDOM presents a new video on Compliance

IDOM has recently published a video, which addresses the evolution and best practices in compliance within the company. This video, available below, features an interview with Cristina Negro, who explains the milestones and significant advances in the company’s compliance system.

In this video, Cristina Negro highlights that the real change in IDOM’s compliance took place in 2021, when the company decided to move from a simple compliance program to a true compliance system. This new approach includes the adoption of best practices in the field, such as the CNMC compliance guide from Transparency International Spain, ISO 37001 and UNE 19601.

IDOM’s compliance system is not limited to the prevention of criminal risks, but also covers other areas such as tax compliance, good corporate governance and sustainability. A particularly relevant aspect is the defense of free competition. IDOM has adopted specific guidelines in this area, which are fully integrated into its compliance system with its own risk map.

In addition, Cristina Negro mentions that, with the advent of the whistleblower protection law, IDOM had to make only minor adjustments to its compliance system. This is because, from the beginning of the reform process, the company took into account the guidelines required by the European directive in this area.
