IDOM at the forefront of the 6 kilometers that will redefine mobility in Peru
The Pariachi Tunnel is one of the most important projects for mobility in Peru, and at IDOM we are proud to have actively participated in its development.
During the recent official presentation, our Director of Studies, José Ignacio Peñas, spoke to highlight the technical and social importance of this project. With a length of 6 kilometers, the tunnel is a fundamental part of the New Central Highway, a strategic infrastructure that will significantly improve connectivity between the coast and the central highlands of the country.
The project will not only reduce travel times between Ate, Lurigancho, and Cieneguilla to less than 10 minutes, but also represents a step forward in terms of road efficiency, environmental sustainability, and protection of the archaeological heritage of Pariachi.
This milestone reinforces our commitment to engineering excellence in the service of Peru’s economic and social development.
