Management of contaminated soils for the expansion of industrial plants

Since 2023, the Sustainable Land Management team has been involved in the successive expansions of a production plant in Spain, developing comprehensive solutions to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainability throughout all phases of the project.
Inventory and Monitoring of Waste
We carry out detailed waste inventories in unused buildings, classifying and recording each item. Subsequently, we oversee and monitor the management process to ensure the proper disposal of all inventoried materials.
Excavation Plans and Technical Assistance for Excavation
For excavations exceeding 500 m³, we prepare mandatory Excavation Plans that include:
- Sampling and laboratory analysis to characterize the materials.
- Definition of strategies for their management or on-site reuse.
During execution, we supervise the works to guarantee proper implementation of the plan.
Waste Characterization Sheets
We prepare technical datasheets based on sample analyses, an essential document for waste acceptance at landfill sites. This process ensures traceability and legal compliance.
Accreditation and Quality
IDOM is accredited by ENAC in:
- Inspection of contaminated soils and associated waters.
- Waste characterization. This accreditation guarantees the highest quality and reliability in our services.
Complementary Projects
In addition, we have developed Demolition Projects and provided Technical Assistance for demolition, integrating sustainability criteria at every stage.
