Faster, more adaptable transport networks: IDOM presents planning tools at ADB APTF 2026
IDOM participated in the 2026 Asia and the Pacific Transport Forum (ADB APTF), which took place from May 19 to 22 at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) headquarters in Manila. This event is a key meeting point for transport stakeholders across the region.
The forum addressed current and future challenges in sectors such as urban mobility, rail and metro systems, ports, logistics, and transport infrastructure. It provided a platform for exchanging practical approaches and solutions.
As part of the program, David Moncholí i Badillo, Director of Transport and Mobility, spoke in “Session 1: From Ideas to Impact – European Transport Solutions.” He discussed the public transport planning tools developed by IDOM that are currently being used to quickly design and update transport networks. These tools help maximize demand, improve decision-making capacity, and strengthen the resilience of mobility systems.
Alongside the discussions and exchanges with ADB and other participants, IDOM’s presence at the forum included Jaime Collar, Jaume Mas, Inés Monclus and Melba Martín.
