IDOM Social Group (ISG) is a working team created as a vehicle for IDOM PEOPLE to propose and develop social projects in the different areas of action defined in IDOM's Social Action Strategy.
Our latest projects

Safe walks (Tanzania)
Kukua, a Spanish NGO working on road safety in Zanzibar, created the Safe Walks project.
Working with the traffic police, the Ministry of Education, and the local community, this educational program is transforming entire communities by educating schools and the general population about road safety. The goal? To reduce the devastating number of child deaths and injuries caused by traffic accidents.

Future Foundation (Colombia)
IDOM Social Group and the NGO Future Foundation are collaborating on a project to install connectivity points in rural areas of Colombia. This will expand the Campo Tech virtual volunteer program where children can access remote academic, creative and entrepreneurial mentoring programs and learn from our professionals.

Quipu Ainy (Colombia)
In February 2025, IDOM Social Group and the Quipu Ainy Foundation organized a day of solidarity in Samondoco and Tenjo, Colombia. They delivered winter kits, food packages, organized workshops and clothes, and provided 160 lunches. 20 volunteers, 12 from IDOM, helped 250 people from these rural communities. Through this project, we seek to promote the well-being and integral development of rural children and their families.

DALECANDELA Fest (Bilbao)
DALECANDELA FEST is a festival organized by the non-profit association DalecandELA, aimed at raising funds for research in the fight against ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
ISG participated in collaboration with the association Goazen UP by carrying out a stand-up paddle activity, where, in addition to enjoying the sport, we contributed to environmental care by removing waste from the sea. Likewise, another team of volunteers helped with waste collection on land.

TARA (India)
The mission of TARA (Trade Alternative Reform Action) is to practice fairness in its production and trade activities to develop artisans in impoverished areas and other marginalized sections of Indian society.
ISG in collaboration with TARA is financing an educational project for 50 students between the ages of 14 and 17 in the Badarpur and Bawana areas. The beneficiaries will be able to continue their studies thanks to this project.

Washela Natural Park (Saudi Arabia)
Our colleagues from IDOM Social Group participated in the cleanup and conservation of the Washela Natural Park, near Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), in commemoration of International Recycling Day.

#Empleoparatodas (Bilbao)
ISG collaborated with the Adecco Foundation's #EmpleoParaTodas programme, which aims to improve the employability of women at risk of exclusion, mainly those over 45 and without work experience.
ISG and the Foundation supported 11 women in their search for employment related to warehouse management. The programme included technical training, professional licences, group workshops and meetings with volunteers. Seven participants found employment and all highlighted the support they received.
