Encounter with the Director General of Casa Árabe in Madrid

On November 25, our Madrid offices hosted a meeting with Miguel Moro Aguilar, the CEO of Casa Árabe. The meeting was held to explore opportunities and share IDOM’s vision in the Arabian Gulf countries.

During the meeting, Tomás González (Director of International Expansion) and Juan Ramón López Laborda (Director of Madrid) presented some of our most emblematic projects in the region, including the Riyadh metro, Sports Boulevard, water reuse initiatives, the use of desalinated water in agriculture, NEOM, the Red Sea project, Jubail West, and combined cycle power and desalination plants. These projects establish IDOM as one of the international consulting firms with the largest presence in the area.

Casa Árabe, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026, has established itself as a key space for promoting relations between Spain and the Arab world. IDOM actively collaborates with Casa Árabe to achieve this objective.

The institution was created in 2006 by a consortium comprising the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AECID, the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Community of Madrid, and the city councils of Madrid and Córdoba. It is now a benchmark for dialogue and cooperation.
