IDOM attended the Global Water Organization’s launch in Riyadh
Last Wednesday, IDOM attended the launch ceremony of the Global Water Organization (GWO) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
During the ceremony, the founding countries — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Spain, Senegal, Pakistan, Greece, and Mauritania — signed the founding charter of this new international organization, which will be based in the Saudi capital and work to promote global cooperation on water issues.
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) invited IDOM to the event as part of its commitment to sustainable development and the efficient management of water resources on an international level.
This milestone further establishes IDOM’s role in strategic projects related to water and sustainability, in collaboration with international organizations and governments dedicated to addressing the significant environmental challenges of the 21st century.
