IDOM participates in the meeting of the technical committees of metro in Tenerife (ALAMYS)
From June 2 to 5, Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosted the 30th meeting of the technical committees of the Latin American Association of Metros and Subways (ALAMYS). Metrotenerife and the ALAMYS General Secretariat organized the event. IDOM was honored to participate in this important meeting for the first time since joining the association.
The meeting brought together more than 135 representatives from 25 transportation companies (including metro, tram, and rail operators), two transportation authorities, and 31 railway suppliers, as well as honorary members and guests from other organizations. Representatives from 16 countries across the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America, and Europe attended the event.
During the event, IDOM attended the technical committees on planning, management, operations, maintenance, tramways, and marketing. These sessions enabled companies and operators to exchange experiences and knowledge, with a special focus on the latest technological advances and best practices in project management and planning for metro networks. These practices aim to promote sustainability and improve the passenger experience.
Participating in ALAMYS reinforces IDOM’s commitment to innovation and development in the railway sector by actively contributing to the creation of efficient, sustainable, and user-centered transportation solutions.
