Innovation and collaboration to transform wastewater management in Saudi Arabia.

The future of wastewater treatment and reuse in Saudi Arabia depends on innovation, resilience, and collaboration. In line with this perspective, IDOM participated in the 3rd Annual Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Conference, which took place on February 9 and 10 in Jeddah.

The conference convened authorities, leading industry companies, and international experts to discuss the Kingdom’s primary water infrastructure challenges in alignment with Vision 2030 and the National Water Strategy.

During the conference, the IDOM team, represented by Muhannad Alqahtani, Daniel González de Suso Iraola, and Abdullah Alqwaizani, participated actively in discussions on advanced water treatment and reuse, decentralized and industrial solutions, public-private partnership (PPP) models, digital technologies, and circular economy approaches.

With impressive participation from institutions and high-level presentations from government officialsinternational engineers, and academics, the event has become a leading forum for exchanging knowledge and analyzing scalable, resilient solutions for the country’s water infrastructure.

At IDOM, we reaffirm our commitment to the sustainable development of Saudi Arabia’s water sector. We provide innovative engineering, strategic planning, and long-term partnerships to address present and future wastewater management challenges.
