Chichimene field project – 40 Acres Stage II: Station Expansion

ECOPETROL operates several oil fields in Colombia, where it is continuously involved in the exploration, exploitation, design of surface facilities and optimization of these oil wells.

The scope of services provided by IDOM consisted of the engineering for the design of the surface facilities for the expansion of the Chichimene station according to the following specifications:

• Basic engineering, detailed engineering and on-site engineering office.
• 3 crude oil storage tanks with a capacity for 40,000 barrels
• 4 new three-phase separators.
• New 100 KBPD produced water treatment package and new sludge treatment plant.

Refurbishment of all auxiliary services at the Chichimene station (air, hot oil, fuel gas, drains, gas recovery).
