IDOM has developed a comprehensive feasibility study and test fit for the implementation of a state-of-the-art Data Center of up to 45 MW in Bizkaia (the Basque Country), with a Tier III+ design.

This technical report provides an in-depth analysis of the site’s potential and the availability of critical infrastructure and urban planning conditions. It proposes innovative solutions to maximize energy and operational efficiency. Architectural design alternatives for the building, as well as power supply options from key substations, have been evaluated. The necessary capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenditures (OPEX) for different configurations have been estimated.
The result is a solid, scalable proposal that aligns with the sector’s highest standards. This positions the enclave as a strategic opportunity for technological development in Bizkaia.
