Vopak’s hydrocarbon marine terminal in Algeciras enters Phase II with basic engineering and FEED process development by IDOM. This expansion project, aligned with Vopak’s growth strategy in the area and following environmental permitting, strengthens its position as the world’s leading independent provider of hydrocarbon and chemical storage services.
Vopak is the world’s largest independent tank storage provider, specialized in the storage and handling of liquid chemicals, gasses and oil products.
The Business Plan of Vopak Terminal Algeciras (VTA) is to continue growing in the area. Vopak has obtained environmental permits for the Project to extend its Phase II Terminal. IDOM was contracted to develop the basic engineering and FEED process for this new Phase.
