Modernization of the TDT network in Algeria with IDOM’s expertise

IDOM has played an active role in the modernization process of Algeria’s terrestrial digital television (TDT) and radio broadcasting transport network, partnering with TDA (Télédiffusion d’Algérie) to upgrade and transform existing transmission infrastructures. The project’s scope covers technical, regulatory, operational, and organizational aspects, ensuring a comprehensive upgrade aligned with international standards.
The contract includes the definition and design of an advanced transport system based on radio links, as well as the development of network and management platforms for efficient system operation. More than 150 sites across northern Algeria have benefited from this new infrastructure, enabling more reliable and higher-quality radio and television broadcasting.
