The Port of Algeciras wins the ESPO 2020 award

IDOM IS CONTRIBUTING TO THE INNOVATION OF ORGANIZATIONS

The Port of Algeciras has won the XII edition of the ESPO 2020 Award, an award granted by the European Organization of Maritime Ports (ESPO) in recognition of the innovation management and culture program “Journey of Innovation“. Its purpose is to consolidate the Port as a hub for open innovation in port logistics.

The announcement was made by the European Commissioner for Transport, Adina Valean, during an online ceremony held on September 10, and in which the finalists from Amsterdam (Netherlands), Lisbon (Portugal) and Ports 4.0 of the Public Port Authority of the State (Spain) participated.

From IDOM, we would like to convey to the Bahía de Algeciras Port Authority (APBA) our deepest congratulations to them for what, without a doubt, has been a well-deserved award for their effort and dedication in recent years. We are doubly proud of having contributed, from our Technical Innovation Office, to reaching this great milestone.
