The Cáceres Conference Center recently hosted the 51st Annual Meeting of the Spanish Nuclear Society (SNE), a pivotal event that brought together industry professionals, companies, and institutions to share technological and strategic advancements. IDOM stood out once again for its strong participation, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and talent development.
Our experts presented technical papers on advanced reactors, proton therapy, thermohydraulics, and waste project management, among other topics. Several colleagues also assumed chairing and coordinating roles in notable sessions, including those on decommissioning, waste project management, advanced reactors, and nuclear fusion. Additionally, we participated in a special session on nuclear energy and data centers alongside industry leaders.
IDOM’s participation in the Youth Session highlights our dedication to cultivating the next generation of nuclear professionals. The session brought together 12 of Spain’s most important nuclear companies and over 30 young people to foster networking and raise awareness of the nuclear sector among the youth.
