IDOM, Procon Systems and Enusa, key partners in IFMIF-DONES safety and licensing
IDOM Nuclear Services is proud to announce that the joint venture led by IDOM, Procon Systems, and Enusa has been awarded the main safety support activities for the IFMIF-DONES facility by esDONES.
Located in Escúzar, Granada, IFMIF-DONES is a critical particle accelerator used to test materials for the DEMO project and other future fusion facilities. This milestone establishes Granada and Spain as leaders in global fusion energy research, the energy of the future.
The tasks include radiological and industrial safety, quality management, component qualification, and support for the facility’s license with the CSN.
This project demonstrates IDOM’s dedication to and expertise in promoting fusion energy as a clean, sustainable energy source.
