Commissioning supervision in the Taishan NPP 1&2

The scope of services requested by ENGIE to IDOM covers the provision of services for on-site supervision of mechanical equipment commissioning on the site of Taishan 1&2. This translates into the presence of an experienced engineer during commissioning, backed by a team of experts providing support from IDOM’s offices in Spain.
The main tasks carried out were:
- Site supervision and ENGIE representative at the Taishan 1 and 2 work site.
- Supervision of subcontractors responsible for mechanical and electrical installations.
- Daily management of subcontractors’ claims for work/scope deviations, representing ENGIE’s interests.
- Management of the communication with the client.
