IDOM has advised the Dominican Electricity Transmission Company (ETED) in the development of the consultancy services to design the technological issues and define the business plan for a new Country Optical Fibre Backbone. This will permit establishing itself as a new “carrier of carriers” operator, placing value on an important asset of the company.
ETED will offer fiber optic transport and rental services on DWDM technology through the OPGW fiber optic infrastructure.
