Endesa transmission facilities audit: Technical update of assets for integration into Red Eléctrica de España

The Endesa transmission facilities audit, carried out by IDOM, involved the comprehensive update of technical documentation for transmission system assets, including substations, overhead lines, and cabling, in preparation for their acquisition by Red Eléctrica de España. This Endesa transmission facilities audit covered 66 kV and 220 kV substations, electrical lines, transformers, and couplings, ensuring compliance and operability of all assets for successful transfer.
The analyzed system includes substations of 66 kV (52 locations), substations of 220 kV (28 locations), and their corresponding electrical lines, transformers, and electrical couplings.
The services provided by IDOM include the following:
- Coordination of the area of operation to define the program of power cuts for inspections (local protection panels), taking into account the usual restrictions of isolated electrical systems
- Review and update of existing schemes, wiring and interconnection
- Functional test, verification of continuity in cables and revision of circuits (in situ)
