IDOM has carried out engineering and feasibility studies for the Frecatei and Somova wind farms, with a total capacity of 303 MW in Dobrogea, Romania. These wind farms, promoted by Grupo Jorge and Bogaris, include the basic and detailed design of civil and electrical works, step-up substations, and evacuation lines, enabling the integration of renewable energy in the region.
IDOM´s scope included the feasibility studies, the preliminary design and detail engineering of the civil and electric works for the wind farms, electrical set-up substations (30 / 132 / 400 kV) and overhead lines.
