SEPCOIII entrusted IDOM with carrying out the basic and detailed engineering within its scope for the Rabigh 3 plant (600,000 m³/day), as well as the integration of the engineering developed by the other two technologists (Abengoa and SIDEM).
The Rabigh 3 plant stands out for its extremely high operational efficiency. Additionally, it is one of the most environmentally friendly desalination plants in the world, as it consumes less electricity, generates the lowest noise levels, and has one of the desalination rates with the least brine rejection, significantly below the most common values.
