Desalination
The detailed engineering design of the world’s largest reverse osmosis desalination plants, with a combined capacity to treat over 7.5 million m³/day, represents a significant achievement for IDOM.
In the 21st century, desalination projects are unimaginable without the integration of digitization, which enhances efficiency.
Moreover, the synergy of various desalination technologies and the utilization of renewable energies are crucial for producing desalinated water at the lowest possible costs.
IDOM is currently developing designs for the hybridization of desalination plants with renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, which can also incorporate energy storage systems.
