Diffuse pollution of the Saigon River
Vietnam
The water of the River Saigon in Ho Chi Minh is used for human consumption, agriculture, industry and aquaculture. The rapid industrialisation and urban development of the zone has polluted the river and compromised all its ecosystemic and economic uses. IDOM’s work involved preparing a comprehensive study to identify and manage the non-point source pollution that affects the river.
