The virtual environment for infrastructure management in Spain, developed by IDOM, marks a decisive step towards the digital transformation of port operations. In collaboration with the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA), IDOM has assisted in the definition and implementation of a comprehensive management system for facilities and infrastructures using advanced 3D virtual environments. 

IDOM is helping the APBA (Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras) in the definition and implementation of a new integrated management of facilities and infraestructure system, using virtual environments and geographical management systems (GIS).

Defining and implementing a new system of integral management of facilities and infrastructures in 3D virtual environments

The main objective is to integrate all support systems for port operations, including security facilities, through a single interface in a virtual environment and allowing operators to convert data into information to give a better response to events.
