Solar photovoltaic power plant for a water treatment plant in Wilmington (Delaware) – 526 kW
USA
IDOM has developed the detailed engineering for a 526 kW photovoltaic solar power plant for the water treatment facility in Wilmington, Delaware, working closely with GES and Honeywell. This photovoltaic solar power plant, covering 7,250 m² and featuring 2,288 solar modules, will supply energy to the city’s filtration plant, which provides 75% of Wilmington’s potable water, enhancing the facility’s energy efficiency and sustainability.
With a total area of 7,250 m² and 3,714 m² of useful photovoltaic space, the 526 kW solar photovoltaic plant designed will supply power to the city’s water filtration plant, which provides 75% of the water to the city. The solar plant consists of 2,288 modules (230 W each) connected in chains of 13 panels each. The projected annual capacity of the plant is 650 MWh.
