From Singapore, Pretoria, and Pamplona to our Madrid headquarters

Last Thursday, June 8, Ana Sánchez-Ostiz, professor and head of international strategy of the Master in Design and Environmental Management of Buildings program (MDGAE) of the University of Navarra, Aurora Monge Barrio, professor at MDGAE, Nirmal Kishnani, professor at the School of Architecture and Environment of the University of Singapore, and Chrisna du Plessis, professor at the University of Pretoria, visited our headquarters, accompanied by nearly 50 students from the University of Navarra and the University of Singapore.

As part of the MDGAE, the activity was encompassed within an international workshop on regenerative architecture organized jointly by the University of Navarra and the University of Singapore and with the participation of faculty from other universities.

They were welcomed by Toño Villanueva, Julia Gómez Goenaga and Jon Becerra, members of the Building Physics (Architecture) team.

After a detailed explanation of the building, where they highlighted the innovative aspects and the development of strategies to reduce the environmental impact, Toño, Julia and Jon accompanied the visitors on a tour in which they were able to see the most relevant elements of the headquarters, including the open workspaces and the different areas of the roof. Here, they delved into the operation of the renewable facilities, the green roof and water management.

During the tour, the participants discussed their interests in the building and the future of sustainable architecture.
