IDOM, a new partner of Aminer

The growth of IDOM’s activity in the mining sector has been reinforced in 2019 with its incorporation as a full-fledged partner to the Association of Research, Extractors, Mining-Metallurgical Transformers, Auxiliary and Services Companies (Aminer). IDOM will contribute by adding its competences to those of the rest of the association’s partners, helping to weave the map of the transnational and multidisciplinary mining-metallurgical sector.

In over 60 years since its foundation in 1957, IDOM has gone from working mainly on industrial projects in the Spanish steel sector, to the multinational firm that it is today. Multidisciplinary teams work in diverse areas offering an extensive range of services. Iron and steel and mineral processing plants are important business areas of the firm.

Specifically, in the mining sector, IDOM develops services such as feasibility studies, process plant engineering, power generation, infrastructure, water management, transportation and logistics, environmental impact studies and waste management, among others.

IDOM is developing the feasibility study of the Los Frailes Mine project, in Aznalcóllar, for the extraction and production, through a differential flotation process, of copper, lead and zinc concentrates, as well as other important international studies.
