The Summit of the Americas is celebrated in the “Lima Convention Center”
A representative and multifunctional space designed by IDOM
The VIII Summit of the Americas took place in Lima on April 14 and 15.
The event brought together the heads of state and government of the Member States of the Hemisphere to discuss shared political issues, affirm common values and commit to concerted actions at national and region level, in order to overcome the present and future challenges facing the countries of the Americas.
On April 11, 2015, during a previous edition of the Summit held in Panama City, the leaders decided that Peru would host the event in 2018. The location chosen was the Lima Convention Center (LCC), designed by IDOM. LCC, which was inaugurated on October, is a representative multifunctional space.
