Whitegate Combined Cycle Power Plant (400 MW): Efficient engineering and advanced technology in Ireland

Ireland

The Whitegate Combined Cycle Power Plant, located in Cork, Ireland, is a 400 MW single-shaft facility featuring advanced GE technology. This Whitegate Combined Cycle Power Plant includes a PG9371 (FB) gas turbine, GE 450H generator, and a heat recovery boiler with post-combustion capable of burning both refinery gases and natural gas. Main cycle cooling is provided by an air-cooled condenser, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability. IDOM was responsible for the basic and detailed engineering services for GAMA.
