From these facilities, DHL can sort and manage shipments from across the Iberian Peninsula. The warehouses have the capacity to process up to 5,500 packages per hour, enabling fast and efficient distribution to multiple European destinations.
The scope of services provided by IDOM has included:
- Basic and detailed engineering, adapted to the demanding operational and technological requirements of the logistics sector.
- Drafting of the activity project, complying with current regulations on safety, the environment, and industrial use.
- Management during the contracting phase, including the preparation of specifications, analysis of bids, and support in the awarding of contracts.
- Construction management, ensuring compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and costs, as well as the correct technical execution of the project.
The logistics center’s distinctive features include its functional design, high degree of automation, and integration with airport operations. This integration enables DHL to improve its transit times and responsiveness to growing demand for e-commerce and international logistics.
