DHL – Logistics warehouses at the Foronda airport

IDOM has provided engineering services to DHL to carry out the project of logistics warehouses at the Foronda Airport, in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
From this center, DHL can classify shipments from the entire Iberian Peninsula, which are distributed to multiple European destinations, by handling up to 5,500 packages per hour. At the time of the realization of the project, DHL handles 64% of the airport’s cargo.
The scope of the services provided by IDOM includes the basic and detailed engineering, the Activity Project, the Management during the Contracting phase, and the Construction Management.
