The solar plant is located in Les Borges Blanques, Lleida.
It is the world´s first hybrid solar-biomass plant built on a commercial scale. The biomass material is forestry residue. The plant has a total output capacity of 25 MW by means of a solar field based on parabolic trough collectors technology. The plant can be operated in three modes: solar, mixed and biomass.
