Methodological and operational design of MiLAB

IDOM’s main objective is to provide a methodological and operational design service for MiLAB (Public Innovation Lab). MiLAB is a Govtech and Public Impact Laboratory that aims to contribute to accelerating the digital transformation of the public sector by connecting it, through collaboration and open innovation strategies, with entrepreneurs and SMEs that use exponential technologies and innovative methodologies.

The objectives of MiLAB are:

• To bring public servants closer to innovation tools and processes that allow them to close knowledge gaps and quickly adopt exponential technologies to address institutional challenges of digital transformation.
• Accompany the technical and technological strengthening of the country’s Govtech solutions (GTSs).
• Revitalise and structure the country’s Govtech ecosystem to detonate connections and conversations of value.

The objective of this project is to achieve, thanks to the services offered by IDOM experts, that MiLAB – Public Innovation Lab becomes the Govtech Lab of the National Government, operated by INNPULSA COLOMBIA; as well as to achieve its implementation in order to characterize and connect public challenges with the ecosystem of solvers and to scale the respective selected solutions.

IDOM’s experts provide comprehensive support to public entities, enabling them to mobilize Govtech challenges. In the same way, they accompany the solvers who respond to the challenges posed by the public entities with new technologies, in order to fine-tune the technological solutions so that they can be implemented and scaled.
