Flue gas desulfurization in coal-fired power plants has been essential to enhancing environmental sustainability in the energy sector. IDOM has served as Owner’s Engineer in several flue gas desulfurization projects developed by ENDESA at its coal-fired power plants in Spain, actively participating in engineering, construction, and integration with control systems at the Los Barrios (565 MW), Litoral (575 MW), Compostilla (350 MW), Teruel (350 MW), and Alcudia (125 MW) plants.

IDOM has taken on the role of Owner’s Engineer during the development of engineering, construction and integration in the control system in the desulfurization projects that ENDESA has developed in its coal plants located in Spain:
