PMC 3 Ammonia plants for Société des Fertilisants D´Algérie – FERTIAL

The revamping project for ammonia plants at Société des Fertilisants D’Algérie – FERTIAL, Algeria’s leading ammonia producer, focuses on the modernization and optimization of its facilities in Arzew and Annaba. IDOM has been selected as PMC to manage both the projects and construction of three ammonia plants, enhancing FERTIAL’s production capacity and energy efficiency.
Société des Fertilisants D´Algérie – FERTIAL is a producer of fertilizers and ammonia in Algeria, ownership 66% belongs to Fertiberia and 33% belongs to the Algerian government. FERTIAL runs two plants in Algeria: ARZEW and ANNABA and both will be revamped in order to increase the capacity and improve the efficiency, reliability and safety.
IDOM has been awarded as PMC for the revamping of 3 units:
- ANNABA KBR ammonia unit
- ARZEW KBR ammonia unit
- ARZEW CHEMICO ammonia unit
