Umm Al Quwain desalination plant engineering IDOM is a cornerstone for achieving the United Arab Emirates’ water security strategy by 2036. IDOM has delivered both basic and detailed engineering for the civil works, process buildings, and underground networks on behalf of ZEPDI – ZheJiang Electric Power Design Institute (a CGGC subsidiary), at one of the largest desalination plants in the world, with a production capacity of 681,900 m³/day.
