Erzin Combined Cycle Power Plant (870 MW): Advanced engineering in power generation for Turkey

Turkey

The Erzin Combined Cycle Power Plant, with a capacity of 870 MW, is located in Hatay, Turkey, and represents a modern and efficient solution for regional power generation. This Erzin Combined Cycle Power Plant features a 2x2x1 multi-shaft configuration, including two GE PG9371 (FB) gas turbines, two triple-pressure heat recovery boilers, and a SKODA MTD60 steam turbine. The cooling system uses seawater cooling towers and a once-through condenser, and the project includes a 380 kV substation for grid connection. IDOM was responsible for basic and detailed engineering, commissioned by GAMA.
