Our Project

The area in which the project is being developed is conceived as a space of transition, without barriers that hinder mobility, between the urban fabric of the city and the natural environment of the Nervión-Ibaizabal River. Different areas are considered: the zone of roads and accesses to the railway station, the public spaces between buildings, the riverside promenade and the area of the river's edge, which follow each other and transform in a fluid way.

The new colony presents a privileged orientation towards the south, the river and the views of the natural landscape. The arrangement is presented in open linear blocks, in the form of a fan, guaranteeing the sunlight of the same, and oriented towards the river walk.

IDOM has been working since the beginning with the Basque Government, after winning First Prize in the Contest for the drafting of the Special Plan for Internal Reform, in the Construction Project and the Works Management.
