The extension projects of the Universities of Senegal are showcased in Madrid
As part of the travelling exhibit of the Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, the projects will also be shown in Seville, Paris and New York
The XIV BEAU (Spanish Architecture and Urbanism Biennial) was inaugurated last July in Santander. This exhibit of national architecture includes the works awarded and selected in the Overview of Works (Panorama de Obras) sectiuon; II Research Exhibit and VII End of Degree Projects. Within the first section are two of our projects in Senegal, the extension of the Bambey University (prize winner) and the University of Saint Louis (selected).
At present, the exhibition can be seen in Madrid until mid-March (in the Archaeological Hall of Nuevos Ministerios, 67 Paseo de la Castellana), during the month of May it will move to Seville and end its journey at the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Paris in July and New York in October.
Under the title Más habitar, más humanizer (more liveable, more human) the XIV BEAU, directed by Sara de Giles and José Morales, presents in this exhibition the 85 works selected in the last edition of the Biennial, among which 23 are prize winner works.
