IDOM, helping produce the Airport Development Reference Manual – ADRM
During the last edition of the Passenger Terminal Expo 2022 in Paris, on the occasion of the launch of the Airport Development Reference Manual (ADRM) Edition 12, our colleague Javier Losada, director of Business Development Aviation at IDOM, was interviewed by IATA (International Air Transport Association) as a member of its Think Tank. The IDOM Airports Team has contributed significantly to the sections: “Development of a Concept of Operations”, “Data Management”, “Peak Period Forecasting” and “Airport Environmental Sustainability”. The team has been working since 2019 on this new edition, which includes the in-depth development of new forecasting methodologies, the expansion of the concept of operations and places the focus on sustainability strategies, incorporating a new chapter into the manual for the first time dedicated to this topic.
For more than 50 years, the Manual has been recognized as the industry’s foremost guide to airport planning and development. The ADRM offers best practice guidance to help meet these challenges and is an important resource for airport planners, architects, engineers and authorities.
