High Speed Station Nowe Skalmierzyce

The design of a new High Speed station in Nowe Skalmierzyce, in the centre of Poland, is part of the Master plan to set up a high speed railway system in the country.

The project is part of the general plan for the creation of a high-speed system in the country

The project, designed in collaboration with BPK Poznan, combines the three main functions: the station, the control centre and a parking lot for 650 vehicles in a single compact body, therefore reducing its environmental impact on the surrounding woodlands. The building envelope is made from a translucent material which blurs the limits between the inside and out.
