IDOM has contributed to the “Development of a Concept of Operations”, “Data Management”, “Peak Period Forecasting”, and “Airport Environmental Sustainability” sections of the Airport Development Reference Manual (ADRM) Edition 12. The IDOM team has been working on this new edition since 2019, which includes the in-depth development of new forecasting methodologies, the expansion of the concept of operations, and a focus on sustainability strategies. For the first time, a new chapter dedicated to this topic has been added to the manual.
For over 50 years, the Manual has been recognized as the most important guide in the industry for airport planning and development. The ADRM provides guidance on best practices to help address these challenges and is an important resource for planners, architects, engineers, and airport authorities.
