Los Lagos Hospital is a healthcare facility with a capacity of 36 beds (30 adult beds, 4 gynaecology and obstetrics beds, and 2 paediatric beds), one minor surgery operating theatre, 14 consulting rooms for healthcare professionals, an emergency care service, as well as diagnostic, therapeutic, administrative and industrial support services for approximately 25,000 people.
The architectural proposal comprises a two-storey main building that defines a public circulation area (entrance and exit) for outpatient care facilities on the ground floor.
The site’s large size and immediate natural surroundings were carefully considered to ensure the hospital’s harmonious integration into its setting, making the most of its orientation and its relationship with the landscape.
