The Iberdrola Tower, among the most efficient in Spain
In the third edition of the Three Diamond Awards, Mitsubishi Electric awarded the Iberdrola Tower the Gold Finalist Award. IDOM developed the engineering for this emblematic building. These awards were created to highlight the best practices of the industry in terms of energy efficiency, design and innovation.
The building was selected from a total of 66 projects submitted.
The awards ceremony was attended by a total of 220 people. Among them, Francisco Javier Abajo Dávila, the General Director of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Community of Madrid, and directors of the Japanese multinational.
“Today we want to recognize the work of the professionals of the air-conditioning sector when designing projects oriented towards maximum energy efficiency, and that stand out for the inclusion of elements of innovation,” said Pedro Ruiz, Director General of the Air Conditioning Division of Mitsubishi Europe.
